This book is a guide to computer programming.
It contains the basic material from a first year Computer Science course.
Improving System Speed (2 pages)
This document is contains some brief notes on making computer code run faster.
Despite advances in computer hardware this topic remains as relevant today as it was in the early days of computing.
The Black Art of Programming (285 pages)
This book is an introduction to computer programming. It covers the essential information of a first year Computer Science course. Recommended for beginners and intermediate programmers. This book is a little outdated now because it focuses on third-generation languages like C rather than object-orientated languages however it still a good introduction to programming and computer science.
Introduction to the Stockmarket (43 pages)
This book is a basic introduction to investing in shares.
The book is suitable for all persons who are interested in the stockmarket but don’t know where to start.
The book also contains brief notes on some more advanced topics that may be of interest to experienced investors.
Mark is based in Melbourne, Australia however the book is suitable for all international markets.
The Wise Investor (355 pages)
A book about personal money management and investment. The book is written as a dialogue between two characters.
Simple Business (709 pages)
A guide to business. This is a large book that includes a lot of material. Topics covered include basic introductions to law, accounting etc. Mark is based in Melbourne, Australia so some of the material is specific to Australia.
Black and White (2 pages)
This document contains observations on the spirit of life, and engineering.
